In collaboration with the Accra Indie Film Festival (AiF) in Ghana, this session explores the growing potential of UK-Africa co-productions and the power of creative collaboration across borders.
AiF is an international platform that champions emerging filmmakers and diverse voices from across Africa, fostering global connections through independent cinema.
Come along and listen in to this special AiF Edinburgh Connect conversation which brings together filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals to discuss opportunities for partnership, the importance of empowering local talent, and the future of authentic storytelling between the UK and Africa.
This is a great chance to gain fresh insights into cross-cultural collaboration and the next wave of international film partnerships.

The Napier Student Film Festival is a premier film festival in its second edition, that celebrates the creativity, innovation, and passion of student filmmakers from universities globally.
This festival serves as a vibrant platform for student filmmakers to showcase their talents, share their unique stories, and connect with a diverse audience of peers, professionals, and cinema enthusiasts.

🪑Seating Options: The seating includes a lecture theatre setup with some limited space for wheelchairs.
🗣️Noise: The film will be played at a moderate level, but you are always welcome to step outside for a break and come back i when you are ready.
💬Audio: All non-English films have subtitles. To request subtitles for other films please let us know 48 hours in advance at ENSA@napier.ac.uk and we will request the film makers to add them.
