Travel the world through film in this special showcase featuring a diverse selection of short films from emerging international filmmakers. 🌍
From powerful human stories to bold artistic visions, this session highlights the creativity and cultural perspectives shaping student and independent cinema across the globe. Expect a mix of genres and voices - each offering a unique glimpse into life, identity, and imagination from around the world.
The screenings will be followed by a short discussion with some of the featured filmmakers.

The Napier Student Film Festival is a premier film festival in its second edition, that celebrates the creativity, innovation, and passion of student filmmakers from universities globally.
This festival serves as a vibrant platform for student filmmakers to showcase their talents, share their unique stories, and connect with a diverse audience of peers, professionals, and cinema enthusiasts.

Accessibility:
♿Physical Accessibility: The venue has wheelchair access but 2 lifts are required to get to floor B including a stair lift. More info here. Accessible restrooms are available near the building entrance.
💡Lighting Considerations: The event is held in a space using lighting which can be adjusted if needed. ~Lights will be dimmed for the films.
🪑Seating Options: The seating includes a lecture theatre setup with some limited space for wheelchairs.
🗣️Noise: The films will be played at a moderate level, but you are always welcome to step outside for a break and come back i when you are ready.
💬Audio: All non-English films have subtitles. To request subtitles for other films please let us know 48 hours in advance at ENSA@napier.ac.uk and we will request the film makers to add them.
