Join us as we officially open this year’s Napier Student Film Festival!
The evening begins with a welcome drinks reception at 6PM in the Foyer, followed by an inspiring selection of short films from student filmmakers around the world from 6.30PM in A17.
Expect thought-provoking stories, striking visuals, and the chance to meet some of the talented directors behind the work.

The Napier Student Film Festival is a premier film festival in its second edition, that celebrates the creativity, innovation, and passion of student filmmakers from universities globally.
This festival serves as a vibrant platform for student filmmakers to showcase their talents, share their unique stories, and connect with a diverse audience of peers, professionals, and cinema enthusiasts.

💡Lighting Considerations: The event is held in a space using lighting which can be adjusted if needed. ~Lights will be dimmed for the films.
🪑Seating Options: The seating includes a lecture theatre setup with some limited space for wheelchairs.
🗣️Noise: The film will be played at a moderate level, but you are always welcome to step outside for a break and come back i when you are ready.
💬Audio: All non-English films have subtitles. To request subtitles for other films please let us know 48 hours in advance at ENSA@napier.ac.uk and we will request the film makers to add them.
