Accessibility:
The Pitlochry Highland Games take place outdoors on a large grassy field, which may be uneven or muddy, depending on the weather. While the event space is mostly flat and on plastic walkways, it may be challenging for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, especially if ground conditions are wet.
This is a day-long event, mostly spent standing or walking, with limited seating. The atmosphere includes loud music (bagpipes and drums) and large crowds, so ear defenders may be helpful if you're sensitive to noise.
You have the option to go into Pitlichry town if you don't want to spend the whole day at the Highland Games. Please make your way back to the coach in time for departure.
If you have any accessibility questions or would like help planning a comfortable way to attend, please contact us at ENSA@napier.ac.uk—we’re happy to assist!
