New to Napier or just want to meet new people?
Speed friending is an ""icebreaker"" social event where you get the opportunity to introduce yourself to different people while a timer goes down! Similar to ""speed dating"", only with the goal to find pals rather than someone to date.
Open to students from all years and degrees, it's the perfect environment to meet new people who also study at Merchiston. 🤗🕒
Accessibility:
Physical Accessibility: The venue has wheelchair access through a lift. Accessible restrooms are available near the building entrance, not directly in the Upper Apex.
Lighting Considerations: The event is held in a space using university lighting which unfortunately cannot be controlled by ENSA.
Seating Options: The seating options vary and include sofas and chairs, as well as different height tables. There is plenty of space for wheelchairs.
Noise Sensitivity: No music will be played, but expect general noise from other students chatting. The nearby balcony terrace offers a quiet area for those needing a break from any noise.
