Join us for an exciting group visit to Camera Obscura & The World of Illusions, where optical illusions and mind-bending experiences await. 🤯

Explore five floors of interactive exhibits, trick mirrors, and hands-on optical fun, all while taking in breathtaking panoramic views of Edinburgh.🔭 

📍 Meet outside of Camera Obscura at 4.45pm. Please do not be late as the group visit begins at 5pm sharp!

Accessibility:

Please note that Camera Obscura is located in a historic six-storey building without lift access. Unfortunately, due to narrow exhibition spaces and fire evacuation restrictions, full wheelchair access is not possible. There are two steps at the entrance, and all floors are accessed via stairs.

If you use a wheelchair and are comfortable transferring with a companion’s assistance, it is possible to leave your chair in the foyer and explore some parts of the building. Walking stick stools are available to borrow for resting between floors—please let us know in advance if you’d like us to reserve one for you.

Sensory Considerations: Some exhibition rooms feature low lighting or immersive visual effects. Ear defenders are available on-site, and a quiet space can be provided if you need a break.
