This is also a chance to explore Edinburgh Napier's sports clubs and societies, chat to the students that run them and learn about how to get involved 🏃🎭

The following bus routes stop near the venue: from the south: 4,34,35,44, N33 and 300, from the north: 3,25,30,33,38, N25, N28, N30, X27 and X28.
Train: The nearest train station is Slateford, with routes from Edinburgh Waverley at approximately 11 minutes and Haymarket 4 minutes.

The Welcome Fair is designed to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and accessible toilets are available on site.
Quiet/Accessible Hour (10–11am): This dedicated hour is for students who would benefit from a calmer environment. During this time, there will be no music, reduced crowding, and additional staff on hand to offer support and guidance. Please note the environment of the fair will still be busy and loud from chatter, so feel free to take a break in our quiet room. Please only claim a Quiet Hour ticket if you need it, to help keep the space comfortable for those who do.
Physical Accessibility: The Corn Exchange is wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry and wide pathways to accommodate mobility aids. Accessible restrooms are located nearby. Due to the crowds you might take longer getting around the paths so we recommend coming during quiet hour if you are able to.
Event Layout: Stall heights will vary, and staff or volunteers will be available to assist if a stall is difficult to access.
Quiet Spaces: A quiet area will be available for those who need a sensory break from the event's noise or crowds. Please ask a staff member to show you the room if you are struggling to locate it.
Sensory: The event will include background music and crowd noise. We recommend bringing earplugs if you are sensitive to sound.
Seating Options: A seating area is available in the quiet room or the courtyard for attendees who need to rest.
Visual and Audio Assistance: Event materials can be provided in alternative formats (e.g., large print) upon request. If you require additional support, such as a sign language interpreter, please let us know in advance.
Support Animals: Support animals are welcome.
Parking: Accessible parking spaces are limited near the venue.

The attending companies, charities, departments and student groups can change every year, and the information is still helpful even as a returning student. Plus, you get freebies!
We can't share a list of stalls at this time as this can change up until the week before the event. There will be a map of the different areas shared on social media the days leading up to the event, as well as in the venue itself.
Don't worry if a society or club isn't in attendance. That doesn't mean they aren't active and you can't join them! Please ask a member of staff at the fair if you have questions.
