About Us
The Edinburgh Napier Pop Choir Society is open to all students who enjoy singing as part of a collective group. Our society is a great opportunity for students to come and work together, get creative and have fun with likeminded people from across the university. We welcome everybody regardless of whether or not you are experienced in voice performance.
Every week we meet at Merchiston Campus, room A78 at 5:15pm to practice a wide variety of songs from various genres, including (but not limited to) pop, rock, jazz, folk, and classical music. We aim to put together a repertoire that we can rehearse and develop as term goes on. We hope to work towards preparing for larger scale performances towards the end of term time. We are also intending to make our sessions more interactive by giving members the opportunity to vote on songs they may wish to perform.
Overall, we want our society to be a positive, inclusive and easy-going environment for our members, forming a space for creativity, teamwork and most of all having fun!
